Currently, only a very small fraction of patients are fortunate enough to receive the benefit of 3D printed anatomic models in their pre-surgical planning. The time and effort intensiveness of medical 3D printing is one of the primary reasons that the majority of patients are unable to benefit from the incredible power of this technology.

 

We envision a future where 3D printing of anatomic models, guides, and other devices is as simple and rapid as obtaining a CT scan. As regulation and reimbursement continues to mature, we firmly believe that such technological leaps are essential to make 3D printing accessible to all patients.
