In masked stereolithography (MSLA) 3D printing, the peel process can consume 80-90% of the total print time due to the relatively shorter exposure times. This results in print times on the order of several hours if not days.

Consequently, addressing this bottleneck is critical to the successful application of 3D printing in the pre-surgical planning for the 5 million patients undergoing trauma and other urgent procedures each year in the US.

Meteora3D's breakthrough LBPS process utilizes fundamental physics to dramatically speed up the peel process and thereby achieve higher print speed.

Our prototype has already demonstrated 4X speed compared to commercial technologies. With additional developments, we are confident of 8-10X throughput by end of 2024.
